Matsumoto-jo
carschti, 15:08h
After 7 weeks in Japan, we finally made it to the japanese alps. Enlightend by Margies intervention we didn´t end up in the Monkey park in Nagano but we went for Matsumoto castle.
The journey with the Shinkansen and several other trains was without any incidents, apart of a very short confusion in Nagona, when I was not able to find the fifth necessary ticket. But, eventually it was in my purse, where I always put the tickets in...Ok, this was my monkey for the day.
The castle itself is really pretty to see. Not so much the colours or the park around, but the scenery and the architecture itself is amazing.
The school excursion was led by Zed. More or less he was in charge to keep all dwarfs together.
On the way back I´ve seen the first time a japanese couple with body contact. Ok, she was playing Nintendo DS...
Back to Kumagaya, I bought a disposable calligraphy pen/brush and a notebook to improve my Hiragana.
